The scripture officer was found in Taihe (AD227—AD233) era of Weidynasty,inherited by Jin and northern,southern dynasties.This paper mainly discussedthe relationship between the scripture officer institution and literature.The researchis basically launched under the view of literary creation and critics,and consist of sixchapters.Chapter one is the study of the institution of scripture officer.On the foundationof historical documents,we described the development of this institution,includingthe details of time,officer number,rank and function of this official position.At last,weanalyzed the differences between each dynasty,and conclude the development ofscripture officer institution into five stages.Chapter two and Chapter three emphasized on the reason of thisinstitution,including the historical traditions,the lawful inherit of monarch;theselection rules and principles,including history,literature,family and area cultures;thebasic responsibilities of scripture officers,its relationship with literature,history andsocial customs.Chapter four and Chapter five is the analyzation of scripture officers’sliterary works and its influence on literature,mainly viewed on the types and writingskills of these officers.Chapter six is the relationship between this institution andliterary critics,including the mutual influence of literature and history,the emergingview of poetry and theory.At last,we discussed the aspect above with examples indetails.The appendix one two and three mainly researched the official record ofthe authors whom discussed in the Shi pin,Wen xin diao long,Wen xuan textually.Thefourth and fifth appendix focused on the the scripture officers native places,familystatures and official careers recorded in histories.The five appendixes above are thedocument foundation of this paper.The institution of scripture officer enriched the literal forms,added moresubject matter to literature.This institution has no other influences except quotationsof classic stories and some writing methods,but the literary critics under scripture officers view has more direct and deep influences from all aspects.
