This thesis is based on the rational principles of piano performance skillswhich was written by the pianist Alfred Cortot from France. Through the reasearchand analysis of Cortot on his Characteristics of piano performanceã€teachingfeatures and the book <the rational principles of piano performance skills>, I amtrying to demenstrate this†rational principle†plays an imprtant role in the areaof piano performance skills. According to the chapter,I analyze the main practicemethods in this book and select the fragments of the outsdannding piano works asa carrier,to interpretate the purpose of these finger exercises as well as thefundanmental technical problems.Alfred Cortot not only had an important position in the field of pianoperformance all over the world,but also has a profound impact as an piano teacher.The book embodies the teaching philosophy of Cortot fully and he also personallyattach some text descriptions.He proposed some valuable practice modes by thesummary and classification of the piano performance skills. As the author of thispaper, I would like to introduce the book to more piano learners and pianoteachers, paving the way for playing the piano better and expressing the profoundconnotation of music. |
