Exhibition design as a means of communication, in the rapid development of information today tends to be international, designers began to pay more attention to the aesthetic elements and the national cultural use, can say the nationality more strong design show the international more intense. China has56ethnic minorities, folk has a lot of valuable intangible cultural heritage, these valuable culture for China demonstration design nationality has provided the rich cultural heritage, this paper tries to deconstruct the nationality element, and its analysis of the exhibition design of the modern expression, which combining the concrete case, on the national element in the exhibition design in the application of systematic discussion.This paper is mainly divided into three parts:the first part analyzes the national culture and the symbol of element, from the national graphic patterns, ethnic, national construction of symbolic analysis, summed up the national elements and exhibition design of kinetic energy. The second part to construct the national element in the exhibition design in modern language system, specifically in the traditional symbol of the borrowing and convey, high-tech and national culture, the creative combination of pluralism of exhibition design in three aspects of expression. The third part is case analysis, in order to World Expo as representative of the national symbols in exhibition design of the concrete application method, in the minority use of symbols, the author chose Mongolia, Li nationality and Zhuang Nationality as a typical representative of the case analysis.In short, the academic value lies in:analysis of China Exhibition Design of national elements in the application status, and the inheritance of ethnic culture in the exhibition design for prospective research, carry forward and cultivate the national spirit of the aesthetic.
