With the advance of new medical reform, the government is increasing investment into the construction of basic medical institution. The mass purchases of medical equipment make the service ability of basic medical institution improve significantly. The medical equipment is an important tool for medical institution to realize its service ability and also is important hardware support for medical and health undertakings in our country. It has played an irreplaceable role in the modern medical sciences and many diseases are conquered due to the invention of relevant medical equipment. Evaluation on medical equipment will detect the defects and problems hiding in design and help to improve its performance. Clinical medical staff, that is, the user, is the direct operator of medical equipment. The user will get subjective feelings about medical equipment by developing their own habits and preferences in using it. From this perspective, the user evaluation is actually the medical institution’s internal evaluation on the medical equipment.Research Objective:Taking X-ray machines and microwave therapy apparatus, the two kinds of basic medical equipment, as an example to evaluate training, service and operating quality of the demonstration equipment from the user’s prospective, on which basis to explore user evaluation on medical equipment commonly used in basic medical institution.Research Methods:The research methods used in this study include documentary research, sampling survey and data processing method.Research Results:In the aspect of training, the training mode has regularity, that is, the manufacturer will provide an on-site technical training before use in the first months of allocation and provide remote retraining in accordance with specific conditions. In the aspect of equipment failure, the proportion of malfunctioning equipment in X-ray machines number is high with low severity degree and the handling result is good. No failure or accident occurs which indicates high security and stability in microwave therapy apparatus. In the aspect of operating quality, the user overall satisfaction of these two types of equipment is high. Equipment function configuration is moderate and no functional defect. The manufacturer should mainly improve the indicators which get a low user satisfaction.Research Conclusions:the user satisfaction on operating quality of commonly used medical equipment in basic medical institution is high. The application of X-ray machine in basic medical institutions is not optimistic, its security and stability needs further perfection, while microwave therapy apparatus has high security and stability which means should step up the promotion. Basic medical institutions should pay attention to the user in the evaluation of medical equipment, strengthen the retraining of large medical equipment and increase the promotion intensity of eminent demonstration products.
