Objective:observed the clinical efficacy on the treatment of the Early and mid-Osteoarthritis of Knee through Scalp acupuncture and the traditional acupuncture. Objectively described the features of Scalp acupuncture treatment, providing a reliable basis on clinical practice and promotionMethods:methods Randomized controlled design and divided the60qualified patients into the trial group(scalp acupuncture30cases) and the control group(body acupuncture30cases). choosed The frontal and parietal region as the acupuncture point for the trial group, but the acupuncture point around the knee for the control. Both groups used the neutral supplementation and draining method every other day and remain the acupuncture for30minutes, one course of treatment include10times acupuncture. The whole clinical research include two courses of treatmen. Compared and record the change of pain degree(VAS), manual muscle testing(MMT), joint activities range (ROM) and the knee HSS score, and evaluate effectiveness. All the datas were analysed statistically with the software package of SPSS19.0.Results:1The efficiency of the scalp acupuncture group is83.3percents,and the body acupuncture group is76.7percents,There are no ststistically significant between two groups(P>0.05).2On the knee HSS score, both of the two groups continue increasing with the treatment, there are no ststistically significant on one course and two course.3On the pain degree(VAS) score, both of the two groups continue decreasing with the treatment, there is no ststistically significant(P>0.05) on one course, but on the two course, there is statistically significant difference (P<0.01).4On the MMT score, both of the two groups continue increasing with the treatment, there is no ststistically significant(P>0.05) on one course, but on the two course, there is statistically difference (P<0.05).5On the ROM score, both of the two groups continue increasing with the treatment, both of the two groups are found ststistically significant (P<0.05).After two course, there is statistically significant difference (P<0.01) between the two groups.Conclusion:1The scalp acupuncture can improve the Symptoms of knee and the knee HSS score faster and better, but the efficacy is almost the same.2The scalp acupuncture can improve the manual muscle slowly, and the efficacy is almost the same with the body acupuncture.3Compared with the body acupuncture, the scalp acupuncture have no advantage on the the joint activities range (ROM).4Both of the two methods are safe and reliable, and there are no untoward effect.5This Research provide the Clinical evidence of using the scalp acupuncture treat Osteoarthritis of knee...
