To establish the Xanthium toxic component measurement method, determination of the major toxic ingredients Xanthium.(2) According to the "Chinese Pharmacopoeia" concocted Xanthium. To research toxic ingredients and content of active ingredients in concocted Xanthium, to clarify toxic ingredients and active ingredients variation and reveal concocted mechanism. Results:(1) To establish Xanthium toxic ingredients and HPLC method for the determination of the active ingredient. the major effective composition is chlorogenic acid, the1,5-dicaffeoylquinic acid and xanthiside, and the major toxic components the Carboxylatractyloside and Atractyloside in Xanthium. They provide a reference for the Xanthium quality standards (2) The carboxyatractyloside content declined sharply, the atractyloside content first and then decreased after contenting, revealing concocted reducing toxicity Conclusion:(1) Established method for the determination of toxic components in the Xanthium, improve and perfect the quality standards to ensure the quality of Xanthium in Xanthium.(2) Clarifing the mechanism of Xanthium concocted attenuated preliminary, by comparing the toxic ingredients and active ingredient content in concocted Xanthium, Xanthium should be concocted, and fried to best to yellow.This conclusion for clinical use to provide security.
