Research Objectives:Based on exogenous fever (upper respiratory infection) in the western area of TCM syndrome type induction, analysis, to determine the basic syndrome, facilitate clinical dialectical normalization, as the western region of traditional Chinese medicine treatment of exogenous fever (upper respiratory infection), make the best of treatment, improve the clinical efficacy of lay the foundation. And through this topic research, distribution agent for acute upper respiratory tract infection syndrome types of TCM dialectical specification provides the characteristics of the western region, in order to further investigate exogenous fever (upper respiratory infection) of TCM syndrome type distribution agent dialectical standardization research lay the foundation.Research methods:Based on the literature of traditional Chinese medicine, understand the concept, etiology, TCM treatment of exogenous fever points method and the related content on respiratory infections, sums up the current foreign feeling fever (upper respiratory infection) research present situation and characteristics of western medicine and Chinese medicine treatment of limitations. This research adopts the prospective, cross-sectional design of the epidemiological investigation method, in April2011-January2013to chengdu university of traditional Chinese medicine affiliated hospital during the period, the second people’s hospital of yibin city, gansu province Chinese medicine hospital, hospital of yunnan province emergency outpatient and under observation and follow-up of patients with primary registration, upper respiratory tract infection in western medicine diagnostic criteria of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), exogenous fever cases, completes the receipt, use statistical software for data processing, according to the type of TCM symptoms analysis method for the analysis, carries on the exogenous fever (upper respiratory infection) of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome type induction, determine the basic syndromes.Results:(1) the epidemiological investigation, believe that the western region of exogenous fever (upper respiratory infection) syndrome type of traditional Chinese medicine is mainly exogenous cold, exogenous fever, toxic heat indicates alternating knot of four shing, damp and hot, the exogenous cold most.(2) the survey of the866cases, including359men,507women, male to female ratio was0.7:1, by theχ2test andχ2=15.689, P<0.01, the difference was statistically significant between men and women;(3) the investigation cases, age range,14-88, exogenous fever patient population mainly concentrated in18to44, By theχ2test,χ2=20.495, P<0.05, The difference was statistically significant between different age groups;(4) exogenous fever of the four seasons are all in onset, rates are highest in summer (June-August), followed by autumn (9to11months).By thex2test,χ2=34.047, P <0.01. Between different season of the866cases, the difference was statistically significant.(5) in24solar terms are exogenous febrile disease, the incidence of solar terms distributed averagely, the incidence of the limit of heat is a bit high.Theχ2test,χ2 211.442, P<0.01. Of the866cases, the difference was statistically significant between different solar terms.(6) the symptoms of this survey is widespread in the exogenous febrile disease. The above data indicate that exogenous febrile disease condition is given priority to with mild, moderate, severe under-representation of.Conclusion:(1) in the western region of exogenous fever (upper respiratory infection) syndrome type of traditional Chinese medicine is mainly exogenous cold, exogenous wind hot, toxic heat indicates, damp and hot junction four each type.(2) in the western region of exogenous fever onset (upper respiratory infection) women more than men, good hair at18to44years old of young people, the four seasons all have come on, in the majority with summer fall,24solar terms have come on, the end of heat slightly higher incidence of a disease, symptoms generally lighter.
