There has a large corn planting arear in Shanxi Province, but the discordant between the corn plant spacing and harvest spacing has a bad effect of maize production process of mechanization. Therefore, finding suirable corn spacing was a problem for Shanxi Province, which needed to resolve. In this manuscript, the three years data has been collected and contrasted with statistical analysis by using EXCEL software to discuss the effects of corn spacing. The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)Standardized plant row spacing had a higher production than cinventional planting corn row spacing at same ecperimental conditions, among them Xiaoyi County in2009had a highest increase production which arrived to76.3kg; Shangduan County in Yanhu in2010had a lowest increase production which arrive to2.7kg. At the same time, there had a better ventilated effent and light transmittance and a smaller incidence of pests and diseases. The effect of combination standardized plant row spacing with agricultural machinery. The production and economic benefit had been improved by using standardized plant row spacing.(2)Compared with conventional planting spacing, stanardized plant row spacing had a higher efficiency by using corn harvest machine.Shouyang County in2010had a highest increase production which was2.8unit per hour; Yuci County in2011had a lowest increase production which was0.1percent. The corn harvest machine can be used for srandardization planting spacing, which had a lot of advantages such as mature technology, good generality and a higher social and ecological benefits.(3)Compared with cinventional planting corn spacing, the standardized plant row spacing had a lower loss rate during the same ecperimental conditions. Yanhu County in2011had a highest loss rate which was3percent; Xiaoyi County in2011had a lowest loss rate which was0.07percent. The corn harvest machine by using the Standardized plant row spacing was satisfied the requirement of the development of modern agriculture,which had a lot of advantage such as lower probability to knock down the corn, feeding evenly and lower lost or leak of spikes.In this manuscript, the method of "combination agronomic and machinery" was been used to find the standardized plant row spacing to suitable with mechanical harvesting maize in Shanxi province, which promoted the improvement of the quality and production of corn and had a higher practical application value.
