Dysosma versipellis (Hance) M. Cheng is a medcial plant endemic to China. Due to deterioration of habitats and over exploitation, in recent years, it is facing extinction. Cultivation has been reported to be the most sustainable and effective way to protect the wild resources. In this study, several key techniques of standardized production of Rhizoma Dysosmae Versipellis were discussed as the essential of standardized cultivation of D. versipellis. Five main results are as follows:(1) An HPLC system was set up to detect multiple chemicals simultaneously. It can test podophyllotoxin,4'-podophyllotoxin-glucoside, deoxypodophyllotoxin, 4'-demethylpodophyllotoxin,4'-demethoxylpodophyllotoxin,β- peltatin,β-peltatin-glucoside at the same time, ranging from 12.5 to 1300μg·mL-1(2) Individuals of D. versipellis from nine wild populations of China covered major distribution areas were investigated based on the quality evaluation HPLC system. TPS & SNJ populations can be used as excellent resources for further development and utilization(3) We obtained the phenological information of D. versipellis with regular observations which suggested that daily management should be reinforced from March to May(4) The physiological and biochemical indexes to different light gradients were established and D. versipellis growing under 70% shading treatment were with highest photosynthetic efficiency and the active ingredients(5) From the chemical point of view, we should collect D. versipellis with the age of 2-3 years and postharvest by the end of September each year. After harvesting, a quick drying method at the temperature of 60℃or so should be used to facilitate storage and transport. And then the standard operation procedure of D. versipellis was established by this research. |
