With the continuous development of modernization in our country, especially the sustained investment in infrastructure construction such as railway and real estate, the market’s demand for loaders keeps on growing. Loader needs to weigh the shoveled material to facilitate further operations, and therefore the research of weighing system has important practical significance. Because of the poor working environment of loader, the traditional offline weighing method is not convenient, so the dynamic weighing method is the development direction of the current loader’s weighing industry.Based on the above background, this paper does some research and design about the dynamic weighing system of loader. The operability and accuracy of weighing have great influences on the working efficiency, so the precision and maneuverability are important performance indicators. This paper establishes the mathematical model of loader’s weighing system, and obtains the mathematical expressions of the loader’s loads, then getting the relevant independent variables which affect the weighing result. According to the expressions of the loads, based on ARM Cortex-M4microcontroller MK10DN512ZVLL10, this paper designs a high-precision dynamic weighing system of loader, which has multiple interfaces, LCD display, touch operation, local control and wireless communication function.The dynamic weighing system of loader uses modular design approach. It has mutual cooperation, reasonable structure, excellent performance, and is easy to maintain. Signal acquisition module and communication module collect and process input signals of external devices on the loader such as sensors and so on, then sending these signals to the microcontroller; The microcontroller calculates value of the load according to the programmed algorithm, and then the obtained data can be sent to the remote control center through the wireless communication module; Lots of information such as real-time value of the load, total value of the load, time data and so on can be displayed on the LCD via human-computer interaction module of the system, the touch-screen operation is also supported, which gives operators much convenience.Combined with the characteristics of loader and the actual needs of users, this paper analyses the design process and realization method of the dynamic weighing system of loader detailedly, and finally finishes the product design, tests the functions of the main modules, which can well meet the design requirements.
