The concept of CLGG(combustion light gas gun) was first proposed by the America in view of strategy and tactics thought of remote depth precision strike. CLGG has the simple technical advantage of high velocity, long range, variable muzzle velocity, less bore ablation and easy to get the propellant. However compared with the conventional artillery,CLGG still needs the support of some crucial technique, such as cryogenic propellant supply, projectile sealing technology, ignition technology and combustion and pressure control technology and so on.Based on the Twelfth National Five years project of defense, some research and study on the projectile sealing technology of CLGG was did in this thesis. The main works of this thesis focused on the following aspects:1).A presentation on the background and progress abroad of CLGG was made. The achievement of UTRON company on projectile sealing technology was highlighted.2).By means of analyzing the sealing mechanism and the mechanism of relief projectile of the UTRON company’s two sealing structure----skirt sealing structure and shear ring sealing structure, a theoretical analysis on the sealing performance of CLGG projectile sealing structure was made.3).Relating to the two sealing structure of UTRON company, using finite element analysis software ANSYS/LS-DYNA an analysis of the performance of the two sealing structure was made. By doing analysis experiments, obtained the influence of structural parameters on the maximum pressure that structure could seal and the pressure that the projectile started to move. And the performance of two sealing structure was compared.4).Taking into account of the short of the two sealing structure, and taking advantage of the sealing structure of tradition artillery, i.e small cone angle on the leading edge of the belt, some changes on the skirt sealing structure was made, then a new sealing structure was put forward to and the sealing performance of the new sealing structure was analyzed.Simulation results showed that the improved sealing structure could satisfy the sealing requirements, and different performance could achieve by modifying the main structure parameters. The results could provide some reference for experiments and research of CLGG...
