| This paper does a systematic research for the impact of the size of section each part to the distortion buckling and local buckling of curling Z steel beam. In the process of participating in the research group to prevent curling Z steel beam distortional buckling tests, we found a number of issues that affect the occurrence of distortional buckling. By improving the experimental conditions, curling Z steel beam has occurred distortion buckling. The failure modes and the ultimate bearing capacity of the specimens are same with the results of finite element analysis software ABAQUS. In this paper, we take the finite strip software CUFSM and finite element software ABAQUS for modeling to calculate the curling Z-shaped steel beams, analyzed the influence of the size of section each part to the buckling modes and buckling behavior of curling Z steel beam, to find the conditions for the occurrence of curling Z steel beam distortion buckling, and got some important conclusions that are available for follow-up studies and reference. |
