As the inevitable products of urbanizations, although the villages in urban will eventually take to die out, they will be put in place in the city in a different form in existence for some time. Reconstruction of the Villages in urban is a span of time and difficult to implement very large systems works.From the perspective of the development of urban, this paper discussed the basic concepts and properties of the villages in urban, as well as the connotation, the main content and basic principles of reforming of the villages in urban. From the analysis shows that reforming of the villages in urban is to solve due to the rapid development of the socio-economic, and urban problems brought by urbanization effective development strategy. The smooth implementation of this strategy can’t be separated from the functional departments at all levels to effectively manage and guidance, can’t be separated from society as a whole and individual support and participation, but also inseparable cut misses the mark of reforming of the villages in urban to the development of policy constraints and auxiliary.Taking the villages in urban of Kunming as the research objects, this paper used the field investigation, visited record and tracking survey research methods, full and accurate to reflect the present state of the real village inside city residents living environment present situation and the transformation of the group opinion. Aiming at the Kunming city village natural village reform situation, this paper did the theoretical analysis of related research. First, it elaborated the basic related concepts of urban villages and urban village renovation, and introduced the theories of the four urban village transformation methods. Also, from nine aspects, the paper analyzed the influencing factors of Kunming urban village transformation. According to the current situation and existed problems of Kunming, drawing lessons from the domestic related successful experience in the city for urban village reconstruction, this paper put forward related countermeasures to improve Kunming urban village renovation.This paper thought that the city village reconstruction is the government effectively solve the rapid economic development and urban village inside city development lag contradictory effective strategy, the government should fully clear throughout the reform process of the leading role, the smooth implementation of village inside city strategy needs the government implement management and guidance, individual voluntary cooperation and action, a combination of rebuilding the villages inside the city development policy is city village reconstruction work has achieved good social benefits of important constraint and auxiliary power.
