In the modern science and technology increasingly developed environment,with sensors, electronic technology and computer technology innovation to rise,weighing technology is also obtained the development by leaps and bounds,weighing device in digital, intelligent, etc have great progress, and has entered a newstage. As an emerging high-tech industry, the electronic belt scale has beenwidespread concern in the world. Traditional electronic belt scale only hasmeasurement functions, with the system control intelligent requirements increase,there is an urgent need with automatic flow control and communication functions,the urgent need to have automatic flow control function and communicationfunction, facilitate and other systems to form a stronger function of the automationsystem. Further adoption of new technologies, developed advanced electronic beltmeter imperative, the subject is expanded electronic belt weighing systemautomatically.The control instrument system designed in this paper consists of two parts:the host computer and the lower computer. The lower computer uses MSC1210Y05MCU as the core chip to data acquisition. It mainly includes the pressure sensor,speed sensor, angle sensor and amplification circuit, etc. The pressure sensor andspeed sensor are the type of resistance strain and optical pulse, respectively. Becausewhen the belt is running, there will be some error between the belt and thestacker-reclaimer caused by the angle changes. The angle sensor could measure theangle variation, and we can compensate the value. It overcame the disadvantage ofthe conventional dynamic weighing system which can not be used in certainsituations, and improved the accuracy of the entire weighing system. Weightacquisition circuit uses Quad pressure sensor to measure the material weight. Thecircuit is the four-sensor redundancy detecting circuit. The system can diagnose faultof the sensor automatically. The circuit can ensure the accuracy of the original weightsignal, and provide reliable data to the whole. Host computer uses ARM7chipLPC2214as the main control unit. The function mainly include the cumulative amount calculation, flow calculation, communication interface, display and controloutput. In addition, the model-free adaptive control is applied in the belt flow control.Simulation results show that the algorithm has good control performance. Afterstructural design, algorithm analysis and related experiments, we prove that the newkind of electronic belt has obvious advantages over traditional electronic belt scale.The multifunctional electronic belt scale control instrumentation systembased on ARM designed in this paper has the following six functions: parameter inputfunction, display function, automatic control function, output function, faultdiagnosis function and communication function.
