Coastal wetlands are a type of important wetland, It belongs to the terrestrial and marine resources. It can conserve soil and water, climate regulation, clean up the environment, protection of dams, prevent wind and sand, disaster prevention and mitigation, protection of ecosystems diversity, with good ecological functions. Our coastal wetlands is divided into four parts, the upper intertidal freshwater wetlands, intertidal mudflat wetlands, subtidal coastal wetlands, estuarine wetlands sandbar islands, The total area of approximately451302hm2. Coastal wetlands are a highly dynamic complex ecosystem, its succession has two categories, one kind is a coastal wetland succession to land direction, another kind is the succession to the ocean coastal wetlands direction.Liaohe River Delta is one of four major China’s Delta, It plays an important role in the maintenance of ecosystem stability, protect the economic benefits of regional ecological environment, maintain high productivity, conservation of biological types, stocking water, fixing carbon dioxide and release oxygen, regulating climate and degradation of pollutants etc, it has important ecological and economic functions. Liaohe River Delta wetlands are also faced with soil salinization, heavy metal pollution, habitat degradation, loss of biodiversity and other environmental phenomena, like other wetlands. In order to protect the Liaohe River Delta wetlands, information were searched for detailed on the Liaohe River Delta wetlands, natural hydrogeological profiles and profiles are determined on the Liaohe River Delta wetlands. Disc infiltrometer were used to determine the surface sediments of soil permeability coefficient100points in the Liaohe River Delta wetlands, soil permeability of the Liaohe River Delta wetlands were identified. Two pumping wells were performed pumping test, Hydrogeological parameters of the aquifer is determined in the area, including aquifer Permeability Coefficient K and Radius of Influence R. The results are as follows:(1) Maximum penetration coefficient value of3.2×10-3cm/s-3.4×10-3cm/s in the Liaohe River Delta wetlands, the average value1.5×10-3cm/s.Permeability characteristics of Reed large changes, the changes of reed habitat’s permeability characteristics is due to the larger root systemand multi-wormhole. Permeability characteristics of Rice, Suaeda, Tidal flats habitats did not change significantly, overall infiltration characteristics by human activities, land subsidence and compressive subsidence result the low permeability coefficient in the region.(2)Pumping test of PJ01group wells, according to observational data, data is obtained, Permeability Coefficient are0.57~0.72m/d, Radius of Influence are19~32m. Pumping holes and observation wells’ observational data were based and derived, Permeability Coefficient are0.93~1.16m/d, Radius of Influence are28~35m.(3) Pumping test of PJ02group wells, according to observational data, data is obtained, Permeability Coefficient are0.37~0.80m/d,Radius of Influence are6~19m. Pumping holes and observation wells’ observational data were based and derived, Permeability Coefficient are0.99~1.13m/d, Radius of Influence arell~22m.
