Under the background of the global resources became increasingly shortage, more and morecountries turn the gaze from the earth to the moon, because it has the rich resources which humandream of. China’s lunar exploration project started relatively late, but in many ways made greatachievement, including the Chang’e-1, Chang’e-2detection results of effective management anddisplay, but the Chang’e-3will carry more load platform, and obtain richer and more complexdata of the moon. way of organizing and managing and showing the data is different from formerways. In order to serve better the lunar exploration project and other project, must develop theChang’e-3lunar exploration satellite information display system.This paper first described the background and necessity of development of the Chang’e-3lunar exploration satellite information display system, and has analyzed the demand. And gotgoals of system development: to manage and show data, to simulate the rocket launching and themoon vehicle detecting, then introduced this system related to the development of the theory ofknowledge and technology, focusing on the content of two respects:(a) real-time drawing andrendering landmark method. Based on data partition table, according to the current viewportcoordinate range, access to the corresponding data, drawn the landmarks;(two) panoramabrowsing method, for panoramic photo browsing, discussed the sphere as Panorama roamingmodel and SlimDX texture mapping method, using the SlimDX finder function to complete thepanoramic photo browsing, the texture prediction and multi thread method to load a certainnumber of texture to the memory and the image magnification and image fusion method ofcombining the smooth transition between viewpoints. Finally by C#language and SlimDX API,Gaea Explorer2.0as the two development platform, developed the Chang’e-3lunar explorationsatellite information display system, completed the development target of the system.The simulation results show that the system is stable in operation. Based on the data of tablepartition landmark real-time rendering and panorama roaming can satisfy the systemrequirements.
