Improved the experimental process of equivalent dose (E.D.) in geological samples, using a data extraction module to draw natural accumulation of light curve of different discs for the same samples, then select the disc which glow curve is consistent with each other by the means of additional dose experiment, each sample is guaranteed by five discs that natural value is similar. This improvement makes the growth curve linearity better, and the equivalent dose is more stable.Thermoluminescence is utilized for measuring the TL signals of the standard debris flow samples which was bleached by simulated sunlight and debris flow samples after real sunlight bleaching. The experiment result demonstrates that the debris flow occurs when it experiences a period of exposure. The TL signal of the samples weakens gradually with the depth increase. The optical bleaching phenomenon is obviously. Within a certain depth, light bleaching phenomenon is enhanced with the increase of light intensity. The annealing depth of simulated sunlight bleaching experiment is about1mm, and the actuality annealing depth of sunlight bleaching is about6mm. According to the equivalent dose variation with depth, the mud of natural debris flow can be divided into two stages. It has fundamental significance in the application of TL dating techniques to divide the stages of debris flow sediments.Equidistant sampled of the modern surface debris flow deposits along the main ditch in Jiangjia valley located at the interchange from Menqian gully and Duozhao gully to Jiangjia valley and Xiaojiang River for two successive years, measured the TL signal and calculated the background value. The research demonstrated that the trend of equivalent dose and background ages in the surface of debris flow deposits along the main ditch increased in2010, whereas decreased in2011.2011showed the regular fluctuations but no obvious rule in2010which was compared to2011. The irradiation dose response on the surface of debris flow deposits in2010had bigger difference than 2011which is basically the same as each other. With the import of debris flow deposits from tributary into the main ditch, the residual age increased at first and then reduced, the support of tributary reset the annealed point of the main ditch.
