Chang Tsai’s Moral Education Thoughts And Its Contemporary Value

Chang Tsai was the famous thinker and educator of Northern Song Dynasty,his doctrinehas a major impact on Neo-Confucianism ideological system establishment and developmentof the theory of education in the Song Dynasty.His theory of education,Especially his moralthought, had played a positive role in promoting the formation of the Chinese nation’soutstanding moral character, even today, there are still important inspiration on the currentideological and political education work of China, therefore, we should uphold the criticalinheritance principle of "making the past serve the present", learn useful ideological and makenew contributions to the moral construction of the new era of socialism.This Paper does detailed, in-depth study of Chang Tsai’s moral education thoughts byusing literature analysis, and combine with theoretical analysis,comparative analysis.Thethesis mainly includes six parts:The first part is the introduction, introduces the main topics ofthis thesis basis,research object and purpose of significance,research status,writing methodsand innovations.The second part focuses on Chang Tsai’s Moral Thought philosophicalfoundation.The third part introduces the principles of Chang Tsai’s Moral Thought. In thefourth part of the article,overview of the main content of Chang Tsai’s Moral Thought.Thefifth part,based on the knowledge of the contents and principles of moral thought, the authorexpounds the moral approach embodied in the Chang Tsai’s Moral Thought from the twoaspects of self-education and social education. Finally, we draw lessons from the moraleducation thoughts of Chang Tsai and link the current moral dilemma.The article thinks thatmoral educators should enhance the moral qualities of citizens,improved Contemporary Moralideas,Enhance the effectiveness of moral education to improve the moral status quo,promotethe healthy development of the socialist moral construction.
