| Since the1990s, large-scale rural surplus labors migrated to urban areas as the form of family-oriented. A lot of children of migrant workers were brought into cities. As main labor force of migrant workers in the city, the same to their next generation, the problem of the family education for them is significant. Solving the problem of family education of the migrant workers’children is conducive to improve the quality of their children’s, and it relates to the future builders of the city and the level of education. It promotes the development of China’s economy. Solving the problem of family education is also conducive to the social stability, unity, and consistent with the requirements of building a harmonious society. However, due to various of reasons, the problems of home education to the children of migrant workers still exists in various forms, which will adversely affect the healthy growth of their children.The author took the education research of migrant workers who live in Wuhan Jianghan District H community through the questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews and other data collection methods. It analyzed by the dimensions of the condition of the community of migrant workers’family education, family background, investment in education and education focus, the concept of education and the support from community. The survey selected120migrant families which have6-14years old children live in H Community residence for more than one year.The social worker got involved into migrant family education problems through the professional techniques of social case work and social group work. Take the community representative families of migrant workers Wang and his family as a case in order to enhance the ability of children’s family education of migrant workers. Corroding to this target, the author made plans to carry out services. In the inquiry process of children’s family educational resources of migrant workers, the author got involved with the social group work through lectures, activities and sharing in the form of providing services to families of migrant workers, to solve the problem. In the course of the study, the author proposes the role of social workers in the education status and improves the skills of interventions of migrant workers’ family education. Finally, the recommendations of the services of social workers in the education of migrant workers’families, including an understanding of the actual needs of the families of migrant workers education, enhance the ability of the education of migrant workers’ families and expand the educational resources of the families of migrant workers to carry out group activities and community activities, the integration of community resources. |
