This paper is the first attempt to research on the social welfare system of thedisabled people in the UK from the perspective of humanism,based on the theoreticalperspectives of the humanism concept, from an objective point of view of the personswith disabilities, through literature study, on the basis of previous studies of the SocialWelfare System of Disabled People in the United Kingdom, examines the humanismconcept in the areas of supports and services in the British system, and tries tosummaries and evaluate it, trying to provide an important revelation to the scientificdevelopment and construction of the social security system of the disabled in China.Firstly, through the introduction of the humanism concept and its origins in Easternand Western cultures, this paper determine the connotation of the concept is thedominant position of great importance of the people, respect for human nature needs,and attention to the value of the people, with the ultimate aim to promote the all-rounddevelopment of humans. Secondly, according to the aspects of legal, financial,educational, employment and medical rehabilitation system of the Social WelfareSystem of Disabled People in the United Kingdom, this paper researches this concept ofthe areas of support and services for the disabled people. Finally, this paper summarizesand evaluates the concept of humanism in the Social Welfare System of Disabled Peoplein the United Kingdom, and concludes that, for the social security system of thedisabled in China, transition philosophy of disabled people is the basis for thedevelopment, to meet the needs of disabled nature is the core, respect for the value ofpersons with disabilities is the key to the improvement of system, and always adheringto the all-round development is the ultimate goal.
