Research Status Of Communnity Correction Service Of Duty Crime Personnel

Community correction service, the first social service for post criminals who returned to society, is considered as the most important social service during the community correction. Whether the community correction service is perfect or not has an important effect to the post criminals’physical and mental health. It is also a key factor for them to be socialized again, which deeply affect the post criminals’ social development after correction. Nowadays, the research on crime community correction is mainly focused on the causes of crime analysis or the modes of the duty crime investigation. But it rarely mentioned about the community correctional services research of post criminals. So the study on correction services and how to use social work methods to help post criminals can improve community correction serviceThe research takes the post crime of YJ County in Zhejiang province as example. It mainly use qualitative research method, taking the visit and observing the small size range to analysis the community correctional services of post crime through the data. What’s more, it analyses the real demand of community correction service, and carries on the discussion from the perspective of social work intervention to improve the situation of the post crime personnel in community correction. It can promote the recovery of the post criminals, which provided some suggests to the practice of crime personnel services in community correction.Through research and analysis, this study’s conclusions are as follows:Community correction subject owns insufficient ability, which can’t competent for complex social work of community correction. The scale of Community correction service is small, which can not meet the increasing demand of duty crime personnel service. The community correction service content is stiff, which can’t adapt to the increasing complex social requirements of duty crimes. The mode of work intervention is too extensive for community correction social workers to involve in post criminal service. The innovation of this research lies on the unique novel research object and the perspective of social work methods, which introduce professional methods to crime personnel in community correction. It also shows the good effect of social work that was used to deal with the post criminals in community correction.
