Research On Network Group Events Formation Mechanism

The network group incidents are the copy, extension and innovation of the traditional groupincidents on the Internet, which formation not only including the adverse social structure of thecontradictions, conflict-ridden of society in transition, but the beneficial social structure formed by thenetwork society. Compared with the group incidents, the network group incidents appear to be adouble-edged sword, on one hand, it has the positive functions of network anti-corruption and rightsprotection, and On the other hand, network group incidents have the negative impact of violence andundermine social stability which takes great challenges to the government in maintaining social stability.Therefore, research network group incidents deeply, and grasp the regularity of its occurrence anddevelopment, can not only deepen the awareness and understanding, provide support for governmentcoping and decision-making, but conducive to safeguarding the stability of cyberspace, social reality,and build a harmonious society.This paper is based on the theory of social conflict and cumulative value theory, implyingdocument analysis, case studies and content analysis, to study the formation mechanism of the networkgroup incidents. In the paper, the author summarized the formation process of the network groupincidents as edge of the network information, main information of network, network informationinteraction, network group events, and take the six elements of cumulative value theory as ideas. Thepaper takes the "Smiling director" as an example, after analyzing related materials, get the conclusionthat, the formation of the network group incidents are the result of the interaction of six factors, whichare social background, social psychology, the common emotional expression, primary and secondaryraw events, network mobilization and action, and lack of network management, then based on thesefactors analysis the evolution of network group events.
