Network anti-corruption, launched by grassroots internet users, has showed itsdistinctive and strong power and become a frequently-used way of anti-corruption,along with the flourishing rising of public opinion on the network and the deepening ofthe public participation in our country. Its characteristics of quickness, anonymity, easycontacts and so on have disclosed the official corruption events to the public, whichhave drew a huge attention of the public and the mess media, started a strong wave ofpublic opinion, provided a large number of clues and valuable evidences to the judicialoffices and impelled the rapid investigations and punishments of official corruptions.Comparing with the traditional patterns of anti-corruption, networkanti-corruption is a double-edged sword. Because the internet communicationenvironment in our country is not perfect and also because the network has thecharacteristics of strong openness, high degree of freedom and others, some badphenomenon of canards, reputation and privacy infringements, network violence and soon emerging in the real operation process of network anti-corruption, thus impacted thehealthy development of network anti-corruption. Therefore, at the present stage, theresearch on the mechanism of transmission of the typical events of networkanti-corruption has an intense practical significance and pertinence. Only the networkanti-corruption has been well utilized, guided and regulated, the network users havebeen gave full play to their initiative of anti-corruption and the appeals of network usershave been correctly responded, can the this double-edged sword play positive effects.This paper has achieved the comprehensive application of journalism,communication, public opinion, management science and other theories and methods.And the research is set to five parts to study the network anti-corruption. Part One hasdefined some concepts like network anti-corruption and analyzed the characteristics ofnetwork anti-corruption in the period of social transition of our country and the causesof their emergence; Part Two has summarized and conducted a study of some typicalcases of network anti-corruption in2012and worked out the specific mechanism oftransmission of anti-corruption cases through the analysis on the case of “the simile ofYang Dacai”; Part Three has discussed the existing problems and limitation of thenetwork anti-corruption in the growth stage from the point of communication; Part Fourhas put forward specific approaches to the existing problems of network anti-corruption through making full use of the effects of government, media, the public and others.
