Since1992the establishment of diplomatic ties up between China and Georgia, bilateral relations have a great development on both side. Language as the based way of communication has become increasingly prominent positions. In the year of September2013the author has been engaged in Chinese language teaching program in primary and secondary school in Georgia, doing some research on the current situation of Chinese lessons at several local universities, primary and secondary schools within this one year, also witnessing the problem arise during the promotion of Chinese in this region. The author hopes to provide some reference and inspiration through this study.This paper starts from a brief overview of the background and development process of Georgia, then divided and introduced the process of development of Chinese language teaching promotion in Georgia, investigated and contrasted other language current learning situation in Georgia, to lay the foundation for the deeper investigation of Chinese teaching. On this basis, the paper referring to the external aspects of recent Chinese writings and theories of pedagogy, taking the three elements of learners, educators, educational influence on the main line, investigates several universities and the establishment of the Confucius Classroom of Chinese courses in primary and secondary schools, analyzes current problems and proposes appropriate countermeasures. Based on the status of the investigation carries out by the Georgian language teaching situation, which focus on the progress of language teaching of students, teachers and parents by using a questionnaire survey. This investigation includes three universities,16primary and secondary schools in Tbilisi. The main investigation uses the questionnaire and interview, taking cluster sampling on sampling collection. Through some investigation it was found out that Chinese and Georgian both sides have great potential on political and economic cooperation,which have a positive impact on the healthy development of Chinese language teaching in Georgia in the future. For Chinese Teaching in Georgia, there are many problems, this thesis combines the teaching experience of my own, proposing the improvement strategy,and ideas to solve the problem. This paper is a national survey of Chinese teaching promotion in Georgia, which briefly analyze the Chinese dissemination and teaching in Georgia, describing the current Chinese teaching situation under the premise comprehensive history of the past. Horizontally compared the other languages promotion method, then this paper proposes some suggestions and countermeasures for the existing problems and difficulties. In a long run, We need to compare with the other language promotion program,under the premise considering of the comprehensive history in the past. For example, we can learn from Goethe Institute, Cervantes Institute and the French Union,which have organized a variety of cultural activities in Georgia.Enhance the recognition from high-level people who is going to leading the trend,promoting the Chinese culture activities effectively start in Georgia.On the other hand, speaking about the problem of Chinese teaching, we could increase training session, provide a platform for all of the Chinese teachers from different schools, they can use this way communicate with the other teachers. Strengthen the evaluation and management of the teachers, set up some rules.Although Confucius Institute is non-profit organization, but we need to take a multi-development route,put more vitality in its sustainable development.Also we could establish a long and effective way to maintain this program.Increasing exchange and cooperation work with local schools.
