The Research On Female Writers’ Ethical Narrative In Local Novel Of New Century

This paper intends to carry out an overall inspection of female literature on Local Novels in the new century from a perspective of ethical narrative, expecting to sort out the complex context of their local narrative, reflect the condition of their literature, and prospect their certain prediction. Meanwhile we hope to extract the rich and heterogeneous contents of female narrative text, grasping the traditional inheritance and development of female writing by analyzing their tendency of basic theme, difference of their thoughts, and characters of their aesthetics.The main body of this paper will be divided into three chapters as logical sequence, including the overview and induction on basic themes of female ethical narrative, the deep analyze of their thoughts and ideological contents, and the critics about their aesthetic feature. Firstly their basic themes can be summarized in two parts. One is marriage ethical narrative, showing the difficult of changing from traditional marriage ethics to modern ones. Their texts reveal the subordination and tragic fate of country’s women, analyze the relationship of local marriage and love, giving a rational expression on another one in marriage. The other side is living ethic narrative, showing the real living condition of transformation on country’s socio-political, economic and culture in the new century. Including their worry about the loss of farmland, the deep thoughts of farmers’leaving due to poverty and modern desire, and the reality country’s emptiness, the sad thoughts of local culture’s fading, and the reflection on the country’s political abuses.Furthermore, going deep into their ideological contents of ethical narrative. We also can view it by three perspectives, firstly they think about the traditional and spiritual obstacles on the gender weakness in cultural conflict, by experiencing their living consciousness and emotion, and then they try to build up a beautiful female discourse on the nature call, by breaking the mode of desire-writing. Secondly they analyze the change of farmers in the conflict between post-modern psychological structures and modern ones, including the revealing of their modern confusion and self-lost in the mix of old and new, the exposing of their moral lost due to the commercial culture, and the critics about their stubborn traditional political minds. Thirdly they also be back into traditional, building up the Utopia construction, expressing the hope of human goodness and the yearning of local traditional virtues, memorizing the broken spiritual home, thinking about the solution of human nature, and pursuing cultural salvation.Meanwhile, the female ethical narrative texts reflect more distinctive aesthetic features, we also can summarize them into three mutually blend levels, firstly their texts inherit and develop the female trivial narrative tradition, including their analog form of country’s daily life, and their delicate psychological perception of the characters. Secondly their texts have a sentimental aesthetic style, and their individual styles also constitute a multi-dimensional art space. Thirdly their texts show a kind of simple and restrained pastoral poetic charm, mainly reflect in their land-poetic language, which are used subtly and flexibly, such as the temper on words and expressions, the rhythm and imagery on sentences, and their mood creation in the narrative texts.Finally, we can find out their heterogeneous gender cultural mentality by overviewing our study from the perspective of female writing, including their moderate stance, weak ideal feelings, emotional mind characteristics, but their shortage of logos and speculative thinking also cause a bottleneck in their literature creation.
