The Chronicle Of Qi Junzao

Qi Junzao, who was considered as politician,poet,scholar,calligrapher in the mid and late Qing dynasty had experienced four emperors and left rich and valuable paperwork, hereby in the form of chronology to hackle all his life. He was from Shanxi Shouyang and was born in Beijing in Qianlong fifty-eight years(1793). Mr Qi is a government official, firstly the chronology tells about his imperial examination and official career. He became Jinshi in Jiaqing nineteen years and entered Hanlin Academy five years later.He entered Nanshufang in Daoguang first year,became the imperial exam at the provincial level examiner of Guangdong province in Daoguang second year.Mr Qi was the education administrator of Hunan province in Daoguang third year and in Daoguang seventeen year became the education administrator of Jiangsu province.In Daoguang ninteen year,he went to Fujiang province to inspect coast defence and forbid opium with Huang Juezi.The next year he returned to Beijing still worked in Nanshufang. In Daoguang twenty-one year,Mr Qi was a grand councillor of state.Eight years later,he became grand secretary of Tirenge.In Xianfeng fourth year he retireed and stayed in Beijing as long as six years.In the last year of Xianfeng emperor,Qi had been used again by the next emperor and appointed as the teacher of Zaichun emperor who was only six years old with Wo ren,Weng Xincun and Li Hongzao.Two years later he retireed again because of illness.In Tongzhi fifth year (1866),Mr Qi passed away in Beijing.That year he was seventy-four years old.At the same time,Qi was also a poet,he wrote about three thousand poems,in the end of every year in chronology,there are his poems.In the calligraphy,he was known as a calligrapher at that time.Mr Qi also was regarded as a park scientist in the book seven hundred famous person in Qing dynasty writeen by Cai Guanluo.The above mentioned can be reflected in the chronology.
