Music as an art form which is closely linked with human, expressing the musicians’ different sentiment, as well as music itself has the efficacy on individual psychological and physiological symptom.Music therapy has a long story which is deceloping with human history, from ancient to now.We have firmly records confirmed that music has the effect of various treatment to human.At present in china, music therapy has been widely used in great quantities, but pathological studies almost covers all the role of music therapy.there is only little studies on healthy people with music therapy’s efficacy.As we know,undergraduates has larger changes in mood during adolescence time, sentimental adjustment is one of the obviously common adaptability problems, their frequent sentimental distress problems subjectively related to adolescent physical and mental are in developing period which is known as the "storm" time, objectively and social competition is intense, interpersonal tensions, closely linked to academic and employment pressure, etc.Mainly perfoming on aspects of anxiety, depression and self-esteem.Committed to this study through the music appreciation intervention on college students’ sentimental adaptability problems research.On the base of the relevant existing research, starting from meet the demand of college students’ music aesthetic psychology, in consideration of both to the physical characteristics of the music (speed) and the sentiment of the music express. degree of being fond of them and adaptive symptom degree of fitting of three dimension.we build a library of music aesthetics appreciation on intervention of college students’ emotional adjustment problems.In the scheme of music aesthetic appreciation intervention design, we made the related themes which are interlocking for college students’ emotional adjustment problems, we made up a framework, from music aesthetic psychology and emotion regulation process. combining with some methods of receptive music therapy and techniques of the group psychological counseling, completed the music appreciation appreciation intervention activities’ scheme of the process in detail, through two months of a total of eight times music appreciation activities, adaptability to screening of30college students sentiment music aesthetic appreciation intervention. using the self-esteem scale (SES), self-evaluation of anxiety scale (SAS). the depression self rating scale (SDS), and other measurement tools after a pretest, on this basis, the participants in the gender, the presence of music learning background, professions, analyzing the differences on students and other variables: Finally tracking tests were carried out for the experimental group and the control group, examine the long effect of music aesthetic appreciation intervention activity.after all of the research process, the study draws the following conclusion:1. Overall, music appreciation activities can significantly improve students subjects of sentimental adjustment problems, promoting the improvement the level of the college students’ emotional adaptation.2. The music aesthetic appreciation activity scheme is operable.3. Music appreciationactivities can significantly reduce the depression level of college students.4. Music appreciation activities significantly reduce the anxiety level of college students.5. Music appreciation activities significantly improve the self-esteem of college students.6. The impact of music appreciation activities on college students’ emotional adaptation in background, gender, presence of music learning students are no significant difference on the ground, significant difference is in the professional.In a word, through the design and implementation of music appreciation activity, intervention on college students’ emotional adjustment problems, can effectively improve college students’ emotional adaptability problems and promote the improvement of the overall level of emotional adjustment.Music appreciation is an effective way on college students’ mental health education and adaptability education.
