The research of self-esteem and selective memory on self-information are done for a long time. Most researches on them were made out from the aspect of tract on self-esteem, and these researches lucubrate, but the coincidence conclusions aren’t acquired. The research of state self-esteem is caught out abroad in foreign countries, but in our country is just beginning. The relationship of tract self-esteem and selective memory on self-information is uncertain because of some indefinite factors such as the way and scene of measure、the difference of subjects, so this article tries farther to research the relationship of self-esteem and selective memory on self-information from state self-esteem. To accomplish it, we designed three experiments.Experiment1reviews the relationship of state implicit self-esteem and selective memory on self-esteem. Name-letters preference test is applied to measure implicit self-esteem. According to it, we marked off high group and low group, manipulated variability includes tract adjectives. which contain10positive adjectives,10neutral adjectives, and10negative adjectives. Definitive factors are the memorial marks of positive, negative adjectives. The results show the relationship of them accords with inconsistency-negativity neglect model and correlation model. The memorial marks on positive adjectives of high group of state implicit self-esteem is more significantly than low group, but the low group has no significance between positive adjectives and negative adjectives.Experiment2probes into the relationship of state explicit self-esteem and selective memory on self-esteem. State explicit self-esteem scale is used to measure explicit self-esteem. According to it, there is a partitioned between high group and low group, manipulated variability is ilk to Experiment1.
