Tsinghua Bamboo Slips And The Research For The Founding History Of Western Zhou Dynasty

Tsinghua Bamboo Slips is the bamboo slip of the Warring States Time which collected inTsinghua University. Tsinghua Bamboo Slips contains a lot of ancient books. It has animportant significance to the study of history、palaeography and philological. The foundinghistory of Western Zhou Dynasty means that the history from King Wen that accepts thecommand of god to Duke of Chou ended the crusade and started the feudal system. There aresomething related to the founding history of western zhou dynasty in Tsinghua Bamboo Slipswhich has been collated. It contains Baoxun、Chengwu、Qiye、Jinteng and Huangmen inBamboo in Tsinghua university (the first) as well as chapter1、chapter3and chapter4ofXi’nian in Bamboo in Tsinghua university (the second).The way of annals named “Wei wang yuan si” in Chengwu of Tsinghua Bamboo Slipsproved that there exists the way of annals by King Wen accepting the command of god duringpre-chin period. Chengwu shows the idea of King Wen of Zhou and King Wu of Zhou thataccept their fates together. We can see from the idea and the application of the way of dreaminterpretation by Symbol that the time of the main formation of Tsinghua Bamboo Slipschengwu is not earlier than the late Western Zhou Dynasty, so it does not have the referencevalue of the study of King Wen that accepts the command of god. The truth of King Wen Thataccepts the command of god is that taking the chance of subsiding two states which calledYu and Rui complaint to advertise the great grace of King Wen of Zhou and make thestatement of accepting the command of god.Baoxun keeps the last words of King Wen ofZhou to King Wu of Zhou. The two stories of “Shun” and “Shangjiawui” in the last words ofKing Wen both are related to “Zhong”. King Wen of Zhou told King Wu of Zhou about thestrategy of annihilating the Shang Dynasty and made King Wu continue this strategy.Suppress Qi（耆）state of emperor King Wu that recorded in Qiye is different from xibosuppress Li in xibo kan Li in the book of history. King Wen of Zhou and King Wu of Zhouhad ever suppressed different State Li respectively. The State Li that be suppressed by KingWen of Zhou located in today’s Lintong Shanxi province, people in State Zhou controlled thewhole Guanzhong plain and formed a potential threaten to the Shang Dynasty. This caused thefrightened of Zuyi. The State Li that suppressed by King Wu of Zhou located in Changzhi county Shanxi province.“Luzigeng” in Xi’nian and “Luzisheng” shows in bronze script are the same person. Heis the king of State named “Lu（录）”. There is no relationship between WuGenglufu and him.Lu（录） State is the Lu(六) state in the classical documentation. It is because Luzisheng andpeople of Qin Dynasy have the same ancestor,“Xi’nian” use the truth that he betrayed ZhouState to lead to the people of Qin moving to the west.Duke of Chou located in east which was recorded in Jinteng pointed to the crusade ofDuke of Chou instead of waiting for punishment in the east.“Living in the east for threeyears” that recorded in Tsinghua Bamboo Slips Jinteng can’t prove the “Located in the east”that recorded in classical Jinteng is wrong. It is possible that they are different in the way ofannals.
