There are less empirical researches about tourist behavior after memorialmuseum public welfare. Therefore, this study taking Liaoshen CampaignMemorial as the research object, discusses tourist behavior and puts forwardsome constructive suggestions for the development of the memorial.This paper, discusses memorial’s current situation and studies on touristsbehavior with qualitative method and quantitative method. The results show:(1)The gap between male tourist and female tourist is small on number; most ofthe tourists are young and middle aged; most of the tourists are student; touristshave higher educational background universally; the majority tourists are lowincome; Jinzhou tourists are majority.(2)The main motivation of tourists islearning, some tourists come here because of its free ticket; the main sources ofinformation are relatives and friends; most tourists come here with their relativesand friends; the main travel time is golden week; the number of tourist increasessignificantly after memorial museum public welfare; main travel transportationsare bus and self-driving; residence time is shorter; the expense is lower; thetourists have good overall satisfaction, strong revisit and recommendationwillingness.(3)tourist’s travel decision behavior,tourism temporal behavior andtourism feedback behavior are significantly influenced by demographiccharacteristics of tourists. According to memorial’s current situation andcharacteristics of tourist behavior after memorial museum public welfare, thispaper gives some suggestions to promote memorial’s development. For example,we should expand the source of funds, strengthen the propaganda, enrichproducts, improve the quality of service and enhance cooperation with tourismdepartments.
