Study On Modal Adverbs Like "Fanzheng(反正)"of Modern Chinese

In the system of modern Chinese adverbial words, modal adverbs are an important and special category. They attract scholars’ attention by its complexity, flexibility, intense subjectivity and powerful expression capability. In this paper, we pick the modal adverbs like "Fanzheng(反正)”which have a common form, and analyses their grammatical features from three different aspects, as well as their subjectivity and subjectivisation. These modal adverbs include "Fanzheng(反正)”"Hengshu(横竖)”"Zuoyou(左右)”"Haodai(好歹)”"Sihuo(死活)”"Chizao(迟早)”‘’Zaowan(早晚)”"Shizhong(始终)”.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter states the origin, research status, methods, theoretical foundation and corpus source of this paper. And the research status involves the study on antisense morpheme words and the individual and the whole status of "Fanzheng(反正)”alike modal adverbs.The second chapter mainly discusses the definition and classification of modal adverbs like "Fanzheng(反正)”.The definition of modal adverbs like "Fanzheng(反正)”is lied on the Prototype Theory and This paper proposed to classify modal adverbs like "Fanzheng(反正)”in accordance with their degree of subjectivisation, which specifically include the classify results according to location, frequency, notion word or form word and attachment. Acoording to these, modal adverbs like "Fanzheng(反正)’’are divided into typical modal adverbs like "Fanzheng(反正)”,prototype modal adverbs like "Fanzheng(反正)’’and marginal modal adverbs like "Fanzheng(反正)”.The third chapter emphasize on the grammatical features of modal adverbs like "Fanzheng(反正)’’.Syntax is described from the three aspects of location features, co-occurrence characteristics and sentence category selection. The semantics aspect is analyzed by these three category. The pragmatics aspect is discussed from pragmatic function and text Cohesion.The forth chapter gives a deep analysis on the subjectivity and subjectivisation of modal adverbs like "Fanzheng(反正)”.The subjectivity is described from subjective expression, subjective viewpoints and subjective amount.
