My Point Of Small-sized Watercolor Painting

As an old saying goes,"One flower is a world, and a wood represents spring and autumn." As for the reasons why these small watercolors have been lasting, four will be introduced below:at first, as these watercolors are small, less time will be used to paint them and the contents of them are brief so they can act as sketches of big-sized watercolors and at the same time they have some advantages nothing can compare especially pictures taken by cameras; then small-sized watercolors can be easily handled and they can be painted naturally and lively; and also, simple painting tools and materials will be needed and easy techniques are required, which suits students who have been trained regularly, so, these small-sized watercolors are welcome to design classes of colleges and universities and they meet the needs of these kinds of students; at last, as another old saying goes,"the economic basis determine superstructure", so with the rapid development of Chinese economy and a large number of middle classes rising sharply, small-sized watercolors have promising market prospect as small-sized watercolors are more easily accepted to decorate private or public places in size and price.As paintings, less small-sized watercolors are presented on exhibitions except some topic displays, on contrary, big-sized watercolors are more but small-sized watercolors are unique themselves and they can meet the practical social demands, so only when small-sized watercolors, watercolor instructions and market demands are combined and both college instruction needs and decoration needs of middle class are used as field are Chinese small-sized watercolors able to thrive in this field.
