Purpose:This study aimed to validate moral emotions, empathy levels and the impact on the individual level of self-involvement in pro-social behavior, and explores the extent to which these factors can predict pro-social behavior.Methods:In the study we have used a3(disgust, anger, neutral) X2(high self-involvement, low self-involved) X2(high empathy, low empathy) mixed experimental design,moral emotions as a variable between group, the degree of involvement as a variable in group, There are totally146participant in the experiment.Results:The results show that the moral emotions (F=17.58, p<0.01) and the degree of self-involvement (F=11.36, p<0.01) on the pro-social behavior of individuals tend to affect very significantly,the level of empathy and pro-social behavior of individual tendencies had no significant effect (F=0.29, p>0.05).Involved in the interaction of moral sentiments and self-degree (F=0.04, p>0.05), the degree of empathy between self-involvement (F=0.26, p>0.05) are not significant.Conclusions:From the experimental results we obtained the following conclusions Moral sentiments and self-involved to the extent of an individual’s tendency had a significant impact on pro-social behavior of individuals; Empathy for individuals in this study tend to influence prosocial behavior was not significant.In the prediction of pro-social behavior, the role of moral sentiment is greater than the degree of self-involvement.
