Clique is a prominent political phenomenon in ancient China society, ifs the scourge of make a political unrest, choking talents circulation and stifle social progress.Factional struggles is one of the important reasons for the Ming dynasty perish, thus it can be seen that the factional struggles research is very important to the late feudal society national political history. As the official newspaper of feudal dynasty,Dibao is a kind of efficient instrument for officials understanding the government decrees. Whether in history or contemporary,Dibao has its own meaning. Although the Dibao’s original documents of Ming dynasty had passed out of existence, but the data book which named "The copy of Wali Dibao "and the single page document called "The copy of Tianqi Dibao"which attached to corpus of Ming and Qing dynasties, still gave us a very important message. But historians do not make full use of the two materials so far, on the contrary, journalism scholars earlier found the relationship between Dibao and factional struggles. But this study has not yet been thoroughly.I read these two materials seriously, combed the progress of factional struggles in late the Ming dynasty. Factional struggles had shown signs in the early period of Wanli dynasty.During the long-term debate about who should be the prince, factional battles between vicious officials and upright officials began to sprout. When Shen yiguan had been in power, vicious officicals gathered in Zhengjiang party, urge againsted upright officials, partisan increasingly fierce. In the late,Zhejiang party, Qi party, Chu party,Xuan party,Donglin party had been formed, partisan was difficult to curb. In the records of the Dibao copy, officials had make issue of calamities frequently, this is a features of partisan during the late of the Ming dynasty. Supreme ruler of the the Ming dynasty——the emperor Wanli seems rejected to deal with government affairs, as a matter of fact,he utilized tactics to regulate and control factional struggles. This is one of the important factors of partisan.Compared with other historical materials at the same time, the two copies of Dibao has several features.First,"The copy of Wali Dibao" published the upright officials’ memorial to the throne unilaterally;second, the data avoided mentioning the important political groups "Donglin";last, this data standing in a fierce critical position to imperial power. The data may render such characteristics, may be related to its editor is the leader of Donglin party——Qian Yiben. Communication theory of "gatekeeper" expound:in the process of transmission, everyone has the information in accordance with self preferences and trade-offs. I thinkt:"The copy of Wali Dibao" probably supportted upright officials, especially Donglin party,it represent this period of history with political stance. So scholars should be cautious when using these two historical datum.
