With the development of English in China, a new English variety emerged, namely, China English. The studies on China English began in the1980s, which mainly focused on the definition and the status. Up to now, the status of China English is still a disputable topic. Entering this century, the studies on China English become diversified. And scholars study China English from the perspectives of linguistic, social linguistic, applied linguistic and literary creation. But so far, the studies on the formation of China English are not formed systematically. This study analyzes the formation of China English from context perspective, which will be illustrated from two aspects specifically:linguistic context and non-linguistic context. Linguistic context contains the context of pronunciation, lexicon, syntax and discourse. The non-linguistic context contains the historical context, political context, socio-cultural context and the altitudinal context. Based on linguistic context and non-linguistic context, the author makes a tentative attempt to explore the relationship between Chinese special context and the formation of China English and the objectivity of China English.Through analyzing the formation of China English from context perspective, the research finds that the formation of China English is deeply influenced by Chinese special context, specifically, from the linguistic context and non-linguistic context. China English is the product of English language and Chinese special context. China English exists objectively, and it has made great contributions on the communication between Chinese and foreigners, especially the cultural diffusion of Chinese culture. At the same time, people’s attitudes towards China English are more open and the recognition of China English are rising.
