In recent years, the translation theories emerge in an endless stream, and have beenperfected day by day. The author aims to explore how to present a professional andauthentic translation efficiently in a new field from the perspective of parallel texts andintertextuality theory. The research on the parallel texts mostly focuses on the pragmatictranslation, but few to study it from the bridge of the third language context as atranscultural translation.According to the translation version of certain parts in Japanese Castles1540-1640,the author attempts to explore the translation strategies and techniques in this project case. The parallel texts and intertextuality theory play a great role in the translation practice: tohelp the translator understand and find a better expression methods. Thus the author analyzes how to utilize the parallel texts to restructure the originaltexts and imitate the language style and gives examples from three aspects: professionalterms, the sentences and the passage. Finally by comparison between the presenttranslation version and the author’s, the author finds out both need to be perfected. The author hopes to provide some example analysis for further research on paralleltexts theory.
