Study On The New Words In Teaching Chinese As A Foreign Language

New words teaching in teaching Chinese as a foreign language (TCFL) is of greatimportance for foreign students to understand the developing China and improve theircross-cultural communication. However, there are many problems in the current teachingsituation of new words, which caused by complicated factors. Faced with this, I made anapplication research on the new words teaching in TCFL. In this paper, firstly, it points outthe importance of the new words and analyze its emergence, structure and application.Secondly, it summarizes the problems exited in current teaching situation of new words.Then, the paper makes some practical designation on new words teaching in TCFL, like inthe process of teaching steps, practical exercises and teaching material composition. Itlooks forward to giving a hand to new words teaching, and eventually improves the foreignstudents’ cross-cultural communication.
