The Development Of Chinese Culture In The Background Of Cultural Conflict Between Chinese And Western

After the rise of reform and opening-up policy in China, China has opened its gateway to the world. As the Western cultures’ invasion, the cultural conflicts between China and West became more and more intricate and complex. Western cultural hegemony was sprouting, trying to infiltrate, corrode and even to assimilate the weak culture which on the edge of cultural transmission, meanwhile it has made a profound impact on the social development of our country. Study of the development of Chinese culture in the conflict background, has became an issue that needs to be solved urgently for the academic circles. This passage, according to the theory of cultural conflict as a starting point, try to explain the current situation of Chinese and a Western cultural conflict from a philosophical level, reveal the roots of the conflicts, in order to put forward the countermeasures of Chinese cultural development. In total tense cultural conflict as a starting line, so that to clarify the current situation from three areas, the conflicts of cultural custom, conflicts of ideology, values and freedom conflicts in culture between China and West. On this basis, on the status quo of Chinese and Western conflict were profound analysis reveals the root causes of conflict in Western cultures. The roots are the differences of traditional production, political system and traditional culture.The last chapter is Chinese cultural development path. Confront with the background of Chinese and Western cultural conflict, this article explains the four development path of Chinese culture:the establishment of Chinese cultural consciousness, upgrade the cultural soft power, strengthen our cultural safety awareness and enhance the international position of Chinese cultural discourse right.
