Content:Yan Lianke is a writer of strong personality in contemporary literaryworld. At the beginning of his literary creation since the seventies to the publishmentof his nineties’ works, he eventually can not be ignored in contemporary literaryworld of existence with his hard way to the literature exploration. Lianke’s worksalways root in the field of the human spirit and cause human’s thinking, his writing isdeep into the "palou mountains area”, besides the depiction of misery, poverty,ignorance, he also concerns the whole nation’s is living condition. The description of alarge number of diseases runs through his works, which also present the connotationof the metaphor. Therefore, the author tried to dig out the types of reading disease andthe metaphor meaning hidden in the text behind the disease through the method ofclose reading, which can provide a better understanding of lianke and his works.The content of chapters in this thesis is arranged as following:The introduction part: it includes selection of topic origin, research status andresearch significance. In the meanwhile, it also introduces the theories about metaphorin Chinese and foreign literary works and use this way to have a better understandingof metaphorical literary texts, especially the disease metaphor.Chapter one: there is masses of description about the causes and reflection of thedisease in Yan Lianke’s novels. It mainly starts from the writer’s worship of "threeadorations"(vitality, city, power), interspersed with writer’s experience (especiallydisease experience), during which the cause of writing disease concluded. It bothaffects his choice of creation subject and the object, which also reflects lianke’screative pursuit of writing for the poor people.Chapter two: lianke’s novels appear in the type of disease. First of all, analyze《riguang liunian》 in difficult to cure "stuck throat disease" of cause, and people toget rid of the pain of disease by trying to explain, insight into what the disease with acritical eye; Secondly, the author of the disabled people and their performance in thelive and hide behind its money, power, desire is analyzed; Again, the author of lianke’sdescription of AIDS and its pathological characters and pathological death mode analysis; Finally, the author through to the "elegant" represented by lianke ofintellectuals in the analysis, showing his longing for eventually lost city to city, andthe lost caused by trauma.Chapter three: the meaning of lianke disease of the novel writing. First of all, theauthor tries to analyze the pathological characters relations become a reflection ofdisease significance. Thus, in order to more effectively to realize lianke novels writingthe meaning of the disease.Conclusion part: disease writing naturally become the existence of a unique andfree, in the novel works not only get a wider meaning, and enrich the relationshipbetween literature and reality.
