The anxiety of University Freshmen’s adaptability refer to the negativepsychological feelings such as anxiety and depression when the freshers try to adaptto the new environment in universities and colleges. This issue deeply influent theirstudy and growth. So, the author does tests and selections by executing measurementsand doing questionnaires. He divides the members who meet the standards of thesetests in two groups: experiment group and comparison group. Then, the author does aseries of music therapy tests on members of experiment group for35days.In order to evaluate the comprehensive result, the author does statistic works ondatum from two aspects: A Record information B Communication and discussion.Andthe receptive music therapy that author adopts include three measures: A Doingexercises with music and follow somatosensory feedback B Progressive musclerelaxation of music C directive musical imagination.The analysis shows that the T result of pre-test and post-test conveys distinctdifferences of experiment group, and the T result of pre-test and post-test ofcomparison group presents unclear trend of decrease so that the difference is notobvious. The receptive music therapy plays a great part on issures such as solving theproblem of relieving the freshers’ axcious feeling. Recetive Music therapy can helpfreshers adapt to a new environment more flexible, to build up a more relax mentalstate and a better interpersonal relationship.
