| Social perspective-taking is the ability to distinguish the individual’s opinion withothers,and the ability to make an accurate judgement to others thought, intention andemotional.A lot of studies reveals that social perspective-taking will help pro-social behavior.social perspective-taking not only makes you to keep a good relationship with others, butalso improve the ability of interpersonal interaction. On the other hand, it can help people findwhere he belongs to and maintain people’s mental health. There is correlation between socialperspective-taking and bullying on the base of some theories. In this study, the author createda Social perspective-taking Questionnaire for college students. By using this questionnaire,we can understand college students’ social perspective-taking development. By this way, wecan provide theoretical evidence for social perspective-taking education and enrich theoutcome of social perspective-taking research in our country. At the same time, we can usethe Social perspective-taking Questionnaire to discuss the relationship between socialperspective-taking and bullying.On the basis of theoretical study in home and foreign country, the author built atheoretical model for900college students in the city of Shijiazhuang and Changchun, whichis based on questionnaire inventory and interview. Then initial Social perspective-takingQuestionnaire was sent to tutor and the graduate students in this field in order to examineagain. According to this model, the author created an initial Social perspective-takingQuestionnaire. Then the formal questionnaire was constructed by analyzing factor structureand reliability of the initial questionnaire. After that, the formal questionnaire’s reliability andvalidity were tested through many ways and showed out the characteristics of collegestudents’ social perspective-taking. The relationship between social perspective-taking andbullying could be tested in this process too.This study makes the following conclusions.(1)Social perspective-taking Questionnaire is composed by4dimensions: knowingothers, the relationship to others, emotional understanding and emotional empathy.(2)Concordance coefficient and split-half coefficient were used to test reliability of thequestionnaire. The results show that all these coefficients meet the criterion of psychometrics, which indicate that the questionnaire has a good reliability.(3)Structure validity and content validity were used to test validity of the questionnaire.The correlation coefficient between each factor and the sum of questionnaire was more than0.5, which shows that all elements can reflect exactly what the questionnaire aims tosurvey.Confirmatory factor analysis also shows that all indexes meet standards ofpsychometrics, which indicates that the questionnaire has good structure validity. In addition,content validity analysis was verified by the experts shows that the questionnaire can reflectthe true situation of our college students. So this questionnaire also has good content validity.(4)The major social perspective-taking types among college students are relationcognitive and affective social perspective-taking. As for the college students, the dimensionsrank from high score to low score in following sequence: emotional understanding,therelationship to others,knowing others,emotional empathy.(5)There’s significant difference between sex,singletons,origin of student and grades.(6)It is shown that there is negative correlation between social perspective-taking andbullying, and the bullying can forecast the level of social perspective-taking. |
