Research On Parallel Prose Of Liu Kezhuang

Liu Kezhuang was famous for his literary works in late Nan Song Dynasty. He wrote large numbers of articles and was good at poems, prose and parallel prose.These had attracted wide spread attention recently,but most researchers was focus in his poetry, Ci and the theory of poetry, for the parallel prose was little attention. This article selects two classes of Liu Kezhuang’s parallel prose-Biao Wen and Qi Wen as the research objects, in order to deepen the study of Liu Kezhuang’s parallel prose.In the late southern Song dynasty, the style of articles tend to be gorgeous,but Liu Kezhuang is unique. In the parallel prose, he showed his self-awareness. Most sincere emotion was revealled.In addition, a clear narrative, distinct characters, beautiful language makes the works more literary. In the Song dynasty,prose is like to use long sentence and be accustomed to comment.Language is influenced by the prose. Liu Kezhuang’s Biao Wen and Qi Wen has both the commonness of times and have self characteristic.Its allusions were easy to understand and were the story of the time. His Biao Wen obey the statutes such as Wang’Anshi’s. The Qi Wen is compact and carefully constructed but smart,such as the Qi Wen of Su Shi.Biao Wen is classfied into the Xie Biao,He Biao,jin Wu Biao,Wei Biao,Dai Zuo Biao.These paper expressed the loyalty to the patriotic, the worries about current events, the discontent of Treacherous court official and so on. Xie Biao’s ideological level is the highest and more concerned about politics. Qi Wen is sorted into He Qi, Xie Qi and Hui Qi.Qi Wen deepen the thought of Biao Wen.Those show the value of friendship, the attention to literature, the attention to politics. In these works, Liu Kezhuang combines practical and literariness, strengthen the Biao Wen and Qi Wen’function of expressing aspiration and emotion.,play the function of recording history.It brought fresh wind to the literary, as the last light in the end of southern song dynasty.
