The new generation of migrant workers,the second generation of migrantworkers,young migrant workers, refers to the group who was born in rural areas in1980s and more then sixteen years old and then working out or doing business incities after1990s. The new generation of migrant workers are already to be thenewborn-backbone in migrant workers, also plays an important part in building aharmonious society. Concerned about the mental health of the new generation ofmigrant workers is necessary for the social stability and building a harmonious society.Currently, The less studies research on the new generation of migrant workers’SWB,Research and discuss the new generation of migrant workers’ subjectivewell-being and factors can provide reference and basis for improving the well-beingof the new generation of migrant workers.To understand the new generation of migrant workers’ subjective well-beingstatus and research the relationship between SWB and social support, SWB andcoping style, social support and coping style,and relations among the threes. thisstudy select362new generation of migrant workers come from different Gender,education, industry, The data were analyzed by analysis of variance, correlationanalysis, stepwise regression statistical analysis, the following conclusions:(1) New generation of migrant workers’ SWB living in the country normmedium level. There were significant differences in demographic variables.The Male new generation of migrant workers was significantly higher thanwomen; the new generation of migrant workers’ SWB who married was significantlyhigher than the unmarried; The group who into the city more than five years has thehigher levels subjective well-being than the others who into the city less than5years;primary education of the new generation of migrant workers’ SWB are higher thanhigh school\college\vocational and college education’ workers; the new generationof migrant workers who have the higher level of monthly income have the higherSWB at the same time. (2) The new generation of migrant workers’ social support and subjectivewell-being were significantly correlated.In the various dimensions of social support, total social support and subjectivewell-being scores are significantly positively correlated, higher subjective supportscore new generation of migrant workers has, the higher SWB score they have.(3) The new generation of migrant workers’ coping style with subjectivewell-being was significantly correlated.The dimensions of problem solving, turn-to-for-help scores are significantlypositively correlated to subjective well-being scores, and the coping style,such asself-blame, fantasy, avoidance, rationalization,are significantly negatively correlatedto subjective well-being scores.(4) The relations between new generation of migrant workers’ social support andcoping style were significantly associated.Social support and problem solving havethe positive correlation; objective support, subjective support, total social supporthave the negative correlation with self-blame, fantasy, avoidance; utilization of socialsupport and turn-to-for-help are positively correlated.(5) Coping style plays an mediating role between the new generation of migrantworkers’ social support and subjective well-being. That is the higher social supportscores the new generation of migrant workers have, the higher they like toturn-to-for-help,and the fewer they choose the coping style such as self-blame,rationalization,then led to higher subjective well-being.
