Yangqu County has a lot of cultural relics with a long history.Buer Temple which was built in the Jin Dynasty is the preservation of ancient buildings earlier. Fanzhuang King Temple built in the Ming Dynasty is known for its special no beam structure. In addition, there are Xilin Temple, Yuquan mountain white long Temple, and Sanzang Temple and so on. These cultural relics include many temples, and the ancient stage is the important component of temples. As traditional opera performance venues, the ancient stage contained Chinese traditional opera culture, and carried the art form and the relationship of watching and playing of traditional opera. The ancient stage has witnessed the formation of Chinese opera, and promoted the development of opera culture and prosperity.In Ming and Qing Dynasties, dominators built a lot of temples all over the country. ShanxiNormal University doctoral paper of Niu Bailin "The Research abouttheatres in Taiyuan district during the Ming and QingDynasties" described in detail the theater of Qinglong town undergroup family influence. The paper still introduced BeixiaodianZhongbin village Paihuai temple stage, Yangqu Dabu GuandiTemple stage, Xiping Bailong-Temple stage,Yuquan-mountain Bailog-Temple stage and detailed records of inscription information. At the same time,thepaper list all ancient stages in local. Most of those ancient stages hadbuilt in the Ming and Qing Dynasty, especially in the Qing Dynasty inthe late. The Yangqu County most of ancient stages were divided intofront and back, out of three, the idea take the stage. The collapse isvery serious, not too many well-preserved. The culture of theprovince’s strategic principles, policies, given the above situation, thelocal cultural sector do everything possible to take measures for itsprotection, the stage of collapse is not too serious, rescue repair. The ancient stage of Yangqu county can reflectthe development and evolution process of the local opera, the closerelationship between drama and politics, economy, culture, religion,folk custom.The author has surveyed these ancient stages Yangqu Countyfield several times, completed the collection and collation ofinformation on the Yangqu County stage in the cultural sector supportin the joint efforts of the literary and art circles comrades. Due tovarious natural disasters and man-made reasons, these preciouscultural heritage has been damaged. Seeing these damaged ancientstages, I can not help but sad. In this paper, I may not make theseancient stages to be protected, but still try modest. At the same time,I hope that the paper can provide some assistance within its capacity,and these data can be well preserved so that it can be used for Yangqudrama in the future researches.
