Although,from the last20th century to nowadays, China’s animation industry is less matureand sound than USA’s and Japan’s, the whole indusry has been developed rapaidly, accordingto its increasing great production every year.Animation industry is a good carrier and the important part for country’s cultureindustry,which is looked as the most potential sunrise industry in the21st century, as well ascreative and content industries. The essential factors of Aimation are vividness,interesting,practicablitiy and imagination. However,the talent is the basic factor of development ofaimator industry. Any animation work entering into market needs plenty of creative talentswho come from the colleges.In recent years, with the highly supports from government, animation industries need moreand more talents to bulid a huge occupational platform. Animation major became so hot thatmany colleges tired to set it up. According to the statistics,by2008, about447colleges anduniversities set up the animation major,and1230colleges and universities involved theanimation departments all of the countries.At present,the numbers are sure to be higher thanthe aboves.However, behind such prospering, the blindness and utilitarian are existed in theanimation educational system, exposing the abuses on the teachers,operation conditions,major orientation,teaching sysetems,and so on.After that,the strange phenomena appears:the graduates are not able to find appropriatejob,meanwhile,the enterprise cannot hire the right employees. According to thestudents’employment in recent two years, the above phenomena becomes worse and worse.The animation,hot major in the past,becomes hard majors in employment now.The basic task of college and university is to cultivate the high-level special talents withinnovational spirit and practice ability. Higher vocational colleges should, according to itsown strength and market demands to confirm its subject structures and major designs to figureout teaching models, which suit the students’ features and employments. As the teacher ofanimation major, we should think, research and probe that higher vocational college how tomeet the demans of market. Throgh our research, the issues are as follows:Firstly, the students in higer vocational college possess the weak art basis and lower learingenthusiasm. Furtherly, these students cannot engage in poduce animation work in thefuture.Thus,the paper aims to solve the above problems.Secondly, through the investigation and research in market and enterprises, the currentanimation industry is fargoing and widely with many relative jobs,which demands lots oftalents.Therefore, the students who study animation are not limited in the produing theanimations,while they engage in the simple and easy jobs, such as courseware FLASH.Thecompanies only use it to promote their products and reduce the cost, which only demandslower level animation work,so that students can do it easily. After one-year practice,the neworientation for animation in our college is exact to support the innovational breakthrough tothe chokepoints of animation.
