With the flourishing of Chinese fever, more and more foreigners start to learn Chinese. The methods of teaching Chinese as a foreign language is facing an increasing challenge, and single method of teaching based on textbooks is unable to meet the requirement. The greatest challenge is how to inspire the interests of students and improve their Chinese. Teachers should identify the difficulties of teaching and combine them with the multiformity of teaching methods when they prepare lessons. Only when teachers make preparation for lessons, students and textbooks can they scheme out appropriate teaching programs for objects. The teaching object of I Want to learn Tai Chi is the students with zero basis of Chinese. And the key points are the studying of new characters and practicing of volitive auxilliar. Differing from traditional one which is completely based on theory, the instruction design in the paper is conductive to show individual style of teachers, and assists teaching with multi-media. Through the interpretation of Chinese culture, it helps students understand the culture while learning from textbooks. Besides, the exercises focus not only on grammar structures, but also on the introduction of related Chinese culture. New characters, words, texts and exercises are no longer taught one by one, however, reciting, writing, reading, and practicing are integrated organically. It decomposes the knowledge with the consideration of students’ability and learning standard and combines learning with practicing by interesting means while teaching Chinese culture. Furthermore, the arrangement of teaching time can be adjusted according to the classroom reflect.
