Guo Moruo ’Qu Yuan’ Text Change Research

Historical plays of five scenes ’Qu Yuan’ was first printed andpublished on ’Zhongyang Fukan’ in January,1942.To March in1957,the last editionwas included in ’Moruo Wenji’.There were many kinds of editions during thatfifteen years.’Qu Yuan’ has strong political senses and great artistic value.It hasalso influenced later from chinese history of drama to chinese modern andcontemporary literature.So it emerges all kinds of research on ’Qu Yuan’,includingthe relationship between reality and history,chatacters and analysis of language.Butresearch on editions is more weak,espacilly the research on texts.This dissertationplans to classify many important editions by different texts from January in1942and tries to find changed characteristics on different editions,avlue of texts’changeand presents a process of texts’change.It will give a better visual angle for researchon process and sense of creating,avlue of work.The dissertation will study plotstructure, characters,words and sentences on ’Wenlin Chongpaiben’ of February in1943,’Qunyi Ben’ of November in1949and ’Moruo wenji’of March in1957,comparing with ’Zhongyang Fukan’of January in1942.And then we can figureout the characteristics and meanings of those changes.On the one hand,research oneditions is important in chinese morden and contemporary literature for its specialstudy angle and originality to other researches of literature.On the second hand,ituses pecial methods to find reasons for the forming of works,and lays a solid rootfor a better understanding of the works,aimming at doing some help for otherliterature researches.
