| Since 1990s,Chinese historical theme TV play was booming like a raging mushroom.Contemporary,historical drama has gained a lot of attentions from audiences and experts.Historical drama revert the history for audiences,letting people review the historical recorded glory and sublimity,and awakening everybody's historical identities. In recent years,the call of traditional culture's back was becoming loudly.Historical drama tried to discover the Chinese tradition and culture from histories,which is not only good for audiences' understanding of history,but also good for Chinese traditional culture's promotion.This article analyzed the reason and meaning of historical theme TV play and historical drama's development and situation,and described the general picture of historical drama through the discussion of relationship between historical truth and art reality in historical drama.This article contained six parts including introduction and conclusion,the principal part was divided into four chapters.The introduction of the dissertation introduced the basic general situation of historical theme TV play briefly,and simply explained the researching object,method,purpose and signification.In chapter one,the historical theme TV play's development,situation,and the reason of its boom and slump were introduced briefly and classified specifically.Historical drama's definition was given in chapter two,as well as the integrated discussion of historical drama's generation,development and cultural meaning.Chapter three emphasized the anatomy of history and drama's relationship in historical drama,namely,issue between historical truth and art reality.In chapter four,the art style of classical historical drama "Great Ming Dynasty 1566" was analyzed objectively.At last,academic assumption of historical drama's production and broadcasting was given in the conclusion part.
