Exploration Of Fragrant Flower Painting-the Floral Character On My Oil Painting

On the research of the creations about canvas with the theme of narcissus, the most of concern ofauthor is the expression about the fragrance on the picture. Generally, we believe that fragrancerefer to the flowers fragrance, but I think that there is another size of fragrance, that is character ofthe flower. The fragrance brings the infinite imagination and connotation beside the limited space,and it brings the soul stirring and unlimited reverie and the aftertaste around the world on whichhave saw the draw painted by author. During a long time research about the character of the flower,I found that the effect of the canvas with the theme of flower is far-reaching. The fragrance offlower on the canvas exactly brings the mental state and thought to the audience with the invisiblerepresent ability of the art; freeze the aspiration on the author’s heart to formatting the impressionon the vision.Only through a long-term observation and exploration of a variety of means ofexpression, we can find a better way to express the character of the flowers in the flower paintings.Therefore, the study of the floral character has aesthetic value and practical significance. Therewas lots of excellent works in western painting about the flower themes and I draw a series offloral theme---"Narcissus", which base on their technique of expression. I would talk over theperformance and the pursuit of the character about flower from four point, the performance point,artistic inspiration, the technical level and the spiritual pursuit, and with mine own creativepractice, and expound how to think and create with this point on the creative process.
