The end of the Ming Dynasty and the rise of the vernacular short novels, with their uniquecreative style in the novel history outshines. In this paper, the Ming Dynasty eight representativevernacular short novels as the research object, around the "adapted" the topic, three aspectmainly from the adaptation of the reason, adaptation of the model, the value of the phenomenonof adaptation adaptation of classical Chinese novels of the Ming Dynasty Vernacular Shortnovels.The thesis consists of four parts. The introduction part, introduces the adaptation, thevernacular short stories of Ming Dynasty and classical Chinese novel situation, object andproblems. The second part, from the historical background, the novel theory, commercial factors,problems and contradictions in the four angles of the adaptation of the causes of. The third part,discuss the adaptation of the model. Specifically from three aspects, language, narrative contententry, combined with the specific works, compares the differences between novels in thevernacular and classical Chinese novels. The fourth part, discusses the adaptation values.
